Our House-Outside

Well, here it is, the post you've all been waiting for-our house! Settle, down, it's not very exciting, but it is interesting :). So today I'll just start with the outside. Here's the front. Just a little patch of green, but it's enough. First it was too hot to play outside for long, now it's too wet. Go figure. Mmm, don't you just love you some dirt colored stucco?
This is the view standing on my driveway(also from kitchen window). Way out there is the old high school, and of course this is the track/football field. It's kept up so it's been really nice to run this track when I want to run but Dave's not around to watch the boys. (which happens often). You can see the bleachers on the left-those are small but they're still good for running some stairs for variety. The boys like to play off to the left at the skate park, or on the field, or sell me 'snacks'(make believe) when I run by. There's a lot they can explore. I really like living next to it.
This is our circle driveway. Fancy eh? You can't tell in the picture but the center has nice paths going through it with interesting rocks, plants, cactus. I'm sure it looked really nice at one time.
Not sure what happened in Blogger to the coloring on this one. We enjoy living a bit trailer trashy and have the camp trailer out front as well as trampoline, bikes, shoes, toys, misc everywhere. Who cares? No one to notice. Our trailer actually was strategically placed to hide the view of the neighbor house that's entirely too close and run down. The red rocks behind are nice though-and that's the hill with the 'K'.
Our 'driveway' to the back.
Not sure about the blue, you can see the neighbors houe and the white dot for the K on the hill-barely. Maybe if you zoom.
Our houses are too close right? Right. A really old, very sweet couple live there. We quite like them.
View of the backyard coming down the drive. Color again??? There's horse stable at the very back, just in case we get a hankering. Mmm, weeds and dirt. Ya, we rarely come back here.
Back of the house. It looks pretty green and nice doesn't it? Don't be fooled-it's a wasteland. Serious. See the little porch on the upper level, on right? We love that little area. Fave part of the house.
The yard is no yard, but the basement really has a beautiful view of the mountains. That's the best part of the back-the view. Picture doesn't do justice. Make sure to click on each picture-you'll get a much better view that way.
Whew-glad that's over. Next time we'll go inside :)
