1 week down...
This past year year has been very stressful, and it has really shown on my waistline. So last week I started Weight Watchers. They've changed their points system, which is awesome. For the first time I am truly eating totally normal-no special meals, no salad for 2 meals/day every day. It really helps you to make smart choices, eat balanced while still enjoying the foods (and treats) you love. Just in (realistic) moderation. Last week I made our homemade pizzas, granola, and someone brought us some superstar chocolate chip cookies-and I was still able to eat all those things. And I lost 4 lbs! Hooray! This time I feel like I can really do it. I was so tired of feeling like I'm on a diet, and eating away from home was stressful. Even on the old WW program. Yay for changes and new beginnings!

YEAH!! I was seriously thinking of doing this. I fell off the diet wagon because I was feeling deprived of everything. So WW here I come too!

Great start! Keep up the good work! Maybe we can get you a new shirt or jeans at Thanksgiving to celebrate your progress :)
