If you have tile floors you totally understand this. I never did, so this was all new to me. Personally, I don't like tile. All I like is that they're completely durable. That's all I can think of on the pro side. I can't stand how they're always cold, so hard to stand on all day, dirty grout, and eating up my socks. I guess my super light colored tile/grout is partly to blame.
I have found relief! I saw these on Rachael months ago in her tiled kitchen and thought they were a bit strange, honestly. Slippers that don't cover your toes? I came across this pair at Costco the other week and have been in love ever since. They're not hot, stay on my feet, super soft, wash well, and have cushy memoery foam that amssages my feet so nicely. Plus, it's saving my socks from being worn out prematurely. Aaaaahhhh, especially with my large marge self they're paradise.
As an added bonus, I get to admire my pedicures in comfort. Ok, I am in need of one, but after painting my toes(shown) a week ago I told Dave that was the last time until well after the baby's born. There are perks to being prego in the summer.

Wow, those do look comfy!
OOO, set me up with a pair of those!
Don't worry- we will have to have a sisters outing to get pedicures before this baby arrives.
