The time has finally arrived, Easton now sleeps in his very own twin sized big boy bed. Ya! Oddly, I'm not sad at all. Maybe it's cause I have another bambino in the oven. We're all very excited though. I have the room all painted and fresh linens and he's sleeping very well in it - so far. I have trim work left to finish and we don't have his bed yet (just a mattress on the floor) so when it's a little more put together I'll post pics for you. Super cute! I have to say I am very pleased. It makes me feel like I'm back on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Aaaaaahhh...that may very well be my most favorite place.
Easton's slept in his bed two nights and one nap now and has done very well. I love that he gets up in the morning and reads books. When he's finished he knocks gently on his door to let us know he's ready. I do love that he can't open doors yet.
Note: this is his sleeping in our bed during a nap a few days ago. Oh wait, one morning he got up ridiculously early and came and snuggled in our bed and ended up falling asleep. That never happens, but it was lovely.
