Corn Stripper

We're one of those weird families who doesn't like to eat their corn on the cob. We like it cut off. It's just one of those things, especially in a public setting I can't stand having those little bits get stuck between my teeth. When in MN I found this fantastic idea called a corn stripper at Williams-Sonoma. No more squirting juice all over and messy cutting. Zip zip you're done. I was thinking this would also be great for harvesting and freezing or canning corn.

Ha! That must have been made for you and Reed- you are the only ones I know that do that. In the meantime you can laugh at the rest of us with juicy, buttery, corn dripping on our plates.

Hey, I just got one too. It's called a Corn Zipper. Can't wait until the corn is on to try it. I also found a cheese slicer like yours at ace hardware. Isn't life great with these gadgets!

I wonder how well it works ?
that is funny, I do agree the corn getting in the teeth is not fun, but it sure is yummy! for some reason it tastes different on than off.

I agree with Cherish that it tastes different, I guess there is just something about having corn stuck between your teeth. Brooke always cuts his off though so maybe I should invest in a corn stripper also.
