Katie and I went for a walk with the boys Saturday morning with their usual tagalong firetrucks when lo and behold what do we see? Real firetrucks sitting down the street! There were 2 flushing water into a field. It was fantastic. The firemen were great, came over to us and talked to us a bit and gave the boys junior firefighter stickers, pencils, and suckers. Wowsers does life get better for a 2 year old boy? We were there over an hour watching them and a nearby train and on top of that police cars came as well. It was also super windy out so by the time we got home we were totally windblown and exhausted. It was a good nap day. :)

Firetruck Mania

That's awesome. It's amazing how little boys are entertained by some of the simple things. Did you know you can actually call the fire station and go in and get a tour? My kids LOVE it. They get to sit in the truck and everything.
