We all came tumbling down

So it's Saturday morning and we've barely made it out of bed. (Preface: my sister is down the hall asleep and my brother and sis's bf is downstairs asleep) I take Easton from Dave's arms and head downstairs. B-b-b-b-boom, we land near the bottom of the stairs. I'm still not totally sure what happened but I think my foot slipped on the stairs and down we fell. Easton was on my hip, darn it. and I think his leg got caught under me. Long story short he got a fancy blue cast today. :( To top it all off our insurance hasn't kicked in yet so it has been doubly painful, especially since I was sent to the pediatrician twice, the hospital for x-rays, and then the orthapedic spcialist b/c they thought he might have compartment syndrome b/c of the swelling.
Goos news is that Easton's quite the trooper. He was the epitomy of perfect kid today with all he put up with. He was even smiling and making eyes at the nurse when they were putting the cast on. He keeps checking out the cast and knocking or tapping on it.

Looking on the bright side, I don't have to worry about him getting into anything for a while. And since I have to carry him everywhere I can pretend he's my (big) baby again.

I'm so sorry Kelly. I'm glad you got it fixed up. Shianne says, Poor little guy! and Sam said I wish that wouldn't have happened so we could still play with him. They were very concerned. Easton has changed so much, he's definatley a big baby now. Sooo cute.

I just showed Gage the pic of Easton with the cast on and he keeps saying OH NO! over and over, He is getting so bored not having his buddy to play with.

He broke his tibia (the big shin bone). Pretty good break, too. He's being great about it.

awww, sad. did you get hurt?
good thing he is such a trooper, and is so darn cute. Casts are no fun believe me I know.

So much for trying to be quiet! That is so sad. He sure is a cute little guy. Bet you didn't know I have been keeping up with you through the blog. I love these things.
