Front Door

I have a kazillion home projects to tackle/in the works, but this is the first one I could manage to finish. I have been yearning for a new wreath, but knew I shouldn't spend the money on something so, well, it's the door. But I found these perfect flowers on a going-out-of-business sale at my local Pier1 and knew they were what I wanted. And for $2.37, I didn't feel the slightest bit guilty. (That was total cost, not per fower!)

I like making my own wreaths. They probably don't look professional, but I'm happy to not have the same berry wreath that everyone is displaying. If you want to try it just get a plain grapevine wreath at a craft store, and attach flowers, leaves, fruit, whatever with a glue gun, twist ties, or I just stick em in and hope they stay in place. It's hard to mess up. And be happy knowing you've made a unique statement.

I loved your wreath. When you come in Oct. get some grape vines from Tom and shape your own creative wreaths. By puting the vines in water you soften them and can bend them into any shape you want. Your awesomely(a real word?)creative.
