Ya know it's funny. Long ago I remember my mom telling me that she had an aunt(?) who always said that she'd never ever marry a farmer. What happened? She married a farmer. For some reason that little tale has always stuck with me, especially recently.
I have always said, at least to myself, that I'd never live in Utah, primarily Provo. If you're not from Utah (and LDS) you understand; if you are, it's not personal. Anyway, our house hunting excursions have brought us far and wide in Utah county. We have found an area that we really like, though. It is the southern edge of...you guessed it...Provo; northern edge of Springville. We'll see what happens!
I have also learned in our short time out here that things are not how I imagined them. For good. All the ladies aren't a size 2 Barbie look-alike trying to out-do everyone else, and the houses aren't nearly as ugly as I imagined. Does this tell you too much about me? Maybe. But I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised some more...

That is hilarious - You, Tara and I all said "NEVER" ever would we live in UTAH! Well - it has happened!!! I am so close that it really is Utah - a population 90% mormon - it may as well be PROVO!
Uh oh kelly, don't you dare jinx me! I have always said the same thing.
