Missing Virginia

As excited as I am to be planted in a new place, there's a lot I'm missing, and will miss, from our 'home.' Here's some of them:

  1. Personalized license plates everywhere. Almost everyone seemed to have one. It always made even a short mundane drive somewhat interesting.

  2. Strangers telling me to "have a blessed day." I like that greeting.

  3. Not having to water our flowers, grass, and garden to make sure they grow.
4. Going broke at auctions and thrift stores. This was a good find for $80, no?

5. Ukrops - the ultimate in groceries and good eats. Yum!!

6. Having the beach so close.

7. Crazy Richard's Peanut Butter. I'm still hoping to find it...or I may have to order a case! 8. People. I miss our friends and having my sister in driving distance.

    9. Fall colors. Nothing beats it. (I don't have a picture, but you can imagine:))

Just think though, someday, you will have a list like for things in Utah. I know, shocking, but it will happen

No Crazy Richards?! That is SO WRONG!!!!!

(oh, BTW, Amazon sells it $15 for a 6 pack case. I know how you like PB . . .)

I miss having you out east already. Boo hoo!

What a great list.... How are you coping with the east coast to west coast move?

I'm actually really enjoying it here. I like the absence of humidity. It is so different but it''s fun. And I have friends all over, so I don't feel alone.
