If you don't live in Utah, you may be interested to know they do this funny thing out here-cement letters to the sides of mountains. My only opinion on the matter is that it usually creates the opportunity for a nice hike. And, it gives my boys something to look for on long drives.
Anyway, when we first moved here my little sis, Kristina, came out and helped us unpack and get settled(thank you!!). One morning we took a break and hiked to the K, which just happens to be across the street from our house. I love that we can take a hike from our front porch!
It's a fairly short but quite steep climb. The boys were very energetic and made it the whole way. Little baby Alex seemed to enjoy until he fell asleep. Nice way to start the day.

that mountain looks sooo steep! I can't believe you all did that. You will have to take us there next time. so the letter on mountain thing is just in Utah? I haven't noticed. lol
