It's almost Halloween again! Close enough at least that it's time to plan costumes. The boys still adore their Mario and Buzz costumes from last year, so we decided we'd better get them out and make sure they fit. But...where did they go? I know I saw them at some point when unpacking. But when I still have areas that look like this crazy room, heaven help me-literally! I didn't feel well, and it was just one more thing I didn't feel capable of tackling. So I said a quick prayer. I fully believed that God would answer and not make me suffer through this any longer. 30 seconds later, I found them. No whisper, it didn't fall on me, not even a thought of inspiration. But I just kept looking, but this time in the right spot, and there they were. I know it would have taken longer, much longer, if I hadn't had asked.
I'm not one who seems to get answers a lot. Maybe I just make a lot of good decisions ;). Maybe I usually don't ask with enough faith. Whatever it is, I felt I'd be super ungrateful for a simple answered prayer if I didn't share. Even simple things can be grand.
