Chairs With a New Dress

Do you remember my kitchen chairs? I was going to link you to old pictures on my blog but got frustrated not being able to find them. So you can dig yourself if you really care, which I know you don't. But anyway, I have recovered them 3 times now. I knew they'd get dirty with kids, but I was naive to how dirty even black and dark khaki stripes can get. So I had to be extra smart this time. But, you all know my rule, I'd rather have it look good than be practical. So I remembered my good friend Oilcloth. Have you met? She's a dream. I was amazed to find this excellent damask print and snatched up every last yard on their site. (hey-they were almost out anyway, ok?)
Ahhh, pretty and practical. My kitchen is happy right now. Bring on the spaghetti!

Forgo the material seats and go with straightup wood-easier to wipe off!

You'll have to teach me how to do it. I love these chairs! Maybe we can make a fun family reunion activity out of it next time when we get together here in Corpus :)
