Luke went in for his food allergy testing yesterday and wouldn't you know it, he tested negative on everything! It's weird I know. Oddly, I just had this strange feeling recently that this would happen. Despite everything that Luke's been through, I just had this snaeking suspicion.
Anyway, the Dr said that it's pretty obvious that Luke's had a hypersensitivity to something, we just aren't sure what. There is also the possiblility that he does have an allergy but he's too young for it to show itself on a skin test. Possible, but I doubt it.
We'll have him retested at 1 year old to verify. Until then she recommended continuing watching my diet until he's weaned and then hold off on milk and soy until retesting is done. So I'll add in some corn products and try milk and soy in baked goods for now. I don't know if I can hold off on everything though. Despite my catiousness, I am super weak and just want some milk-based treats, darn it! Confession: I had a gooey delicious cinnamon roll on the way home from the Dr in celebration. You have no idea how good it was. And - So far so good. I'll keep ya posted though.

Wow, that is bittersweet, isn't it? I am so glad he doesn't have a confirmed allergy, but it must also be frustrating that you still don't know exactly what he is sensitive to.
I am so happy for you that you can eat a little more normal! That is a big deal! :)
Wean him now so you can enjoy more goey deliciousness!
That's amazing!! YEA!!! I'm so excited for you. I'm sure glad you got to enjoy that cinnamon roll. That must be such a relief for you to not have to be so careful about what you eat.
