Don't freak out, I'm not changing jobs from homemaker to HGTV's newest designer showdown bit. It's not that big of a deal, but yes, Dave's made a little job change. He's still with Walgreens. They've been asking him for months to take over the Lehi store. Which of course, is only about 3 minutes away by car. He's been in south Orem, about 20 minutes. There's been a lot of reasons why he wouldn't do it up until now. But they asked again and after pondering and praying felt like this would be the right time for him to transfer.
So tonight's his last night at his store. Tomorrow he'll be in Lehi. We look forward to the lack of a commute and having him closer, but know it'll be a tough transition for a while. The Lehi store is a mess, and really busy too. Looks like he'll have good help, though, which makes all the difference. He'll still be manager as well, so that won't change. And, if nothing else, he's only committed to Walgreens for one more year so if it turns out to be awful he could tranfer again or cut bait. But, I think it'll be ok. Only one way to find out, right?

That's exciting for you guys. I'm so glad he won't have to commute as far, and Dave will do awesome at making it a better store. We wish the best of luck to him.
That will be so nice to have him closer! It may be a challenge, but I am sure Reed will be great.
A change is supposed to be as good as a rest. Dave will enjoy wherever he is. It will be nice to have him closed to home.
