Eggs??

The past couple weeks have been brutal. Easton would wake up at night and be up for hours. Hours. The past week it has been because he's sick with a rotten cold. Previous to that who knows why. And Luke has been wanting to eat every 2-3 hours, around the clock. And he's been fussy. And all the sign of an allergic reaction has been present. It was obvious something was wrong. I suppose it's possible I could have eaten something with milk in it, but I don't know how. This diet is nothing new to me and I am very careful. Plus I haven't eaten out or anything either. So we've been wondering if it's something else. One night when I was up with Luke the thought came to me that maybe it's eggs. I talked to the allergist a few days ago and she also suggested that I try cutting eggs and soy from my diet. I'd be shocked if it was soy, so I am cutting eggs first and see how that goes.
Luke doesn't have an appt to see the allergist until May, so we're on our own. Sure, we could probably get into another one, but he's still young enough that I don't want to put him through that terrible testing until he's a little bigger. I remember going through that with Easton and it was miserable for all, and then the results were inconclusive because he was so little (6 months, and small at that). So we'll try this and hopefully we can work things out before May. Geez, by then he'll be 7 months old! Crazy. Kids are kinda like cheese to me. I hate to wish away his sweet cute baby stage, but I sure do like them better as they age.
Wish us luck - I need some sleep!
