Pergola

I've been busy trying to whittle down my to do list, so I haven't taken much opportunity to blog. Good news is that we're making good progress! This weekend Dave was able to (finally) finish building our pergola. Yippee!

I love it. He loves it. Dave really did a fantastic job. As is his way, he had no instructions or help. He just figured it out and did it. (Dave's disclaimer: he did have a neighbor hold the poles at the beginning so that he could drill them in place.) Now we enjoy spending time out here even more. We have grapevines growing up on either side of it too. And to our delight, they're growing fast!
