Update on Dave

Some have been asking so I thought it was time to let you know what's going on with Dave these days.
First, he loves being closer to family and especially, hunting. He's been on a couple different trips already adn I'm also glad that he's finally able to do one of the things he loves.
Dave's been my fix-it/do-it-yourself handyman, as usual. And he enjoys it! Aaaaah, aren't I lucky? He put up more gutters on the house, no easy task with a high roof line. All by himself, no instructions. He's sealed the concrete patio we had done. (I'll post pics when the snow clears.) Installed a wall mounted ironing board for me that I adore.
Work's great. He loves being a pharmacist and putting to practice all the years of info he's studied. Last week Dave even won an award! Walgreens has secret shoppers (he didn't know this). Apparently one shopped him and he must've given great customer service (I'm not surprised) b/c he was given an award for it. We hear that after so long all the winners are entered into a drawing for a truck. Now that would be an award!
A couple weeks ago Dave got a woman arrested. Well, really, she did it to herslf, but he called her on it. There's a lot of prescription drug addicts here. A lot. This lady called in her own prescrition, so when she came to pick it up he called the cops in. The story was even on the news. (dave wasn't, luckily.) Apparently she had been doing this a lot around town, using her kids names, ex-boyfriends names. Sad. It's too bad that this is probably teh first of many similar incidents to come.

I recently realized my benefits of his profession when I had to get Easton's prescrition filled this week. The doctor faxed it over, I drove up, Dave took care of all the messy insurance stuff, and then brought it out to me in the car since Easton fell asleep. So so easy. Looking at the 5 cars waiting in the drive-thru line, I knew I was very lucky right then.
