Ok, so I've never tried one. Never seen them in person for that matter, but I think I love them. At least the idea.
I read about this lady in Costco's magazine (have I mentioned my love-hate for costco recently?). When this lady started having food sensitivity issues while breast feeding her daughter(hmmm, sounds so familiar)she was looking for a quick premade food that could be a meal or snack, but was also nutrient dense, natural, and yummy. So she started making these natural raw food bars, and now sells them, here.
They're still pretty expensive, but how great would these be for those days that you work a long day and don't have much time to eat, or running with the kids here and there or on hikes, or my husband's hunting excursions. They're gluten free, dairy free, organic, vegan and raw. Awesome. I couldn't let Easton have them, but then again they don't have chocolate chips so he wouldn't be interested anyway. At about 250 calories each and packed with so much nutrition, I love it. I'll let you know if I try it.
