Luke is 1

October 2nd Luke had his first birthday! Yippee! I love the year mark. So much better for me. And everyone, really. He's so cute and adorable and sweet and his personality is growing bigger every day! I especially love that he blows me kisses from his crib whenever I put him to bed. Cute little love-a-bug. I could just eat him up sometimes.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I went lazy and made a boxed cake mix and used canned frosting for the event. It tasted like a plate full of candy colored chemicals. P-yuck-o! I've repented and never again will I subject my loved ones to such awfulness.

Luke liked licking the frosting first. No hands-head first. Finally figured out he could dig in.

He received an assortment of books for the big day. Heaven. (He's so my child!)
