Thanks to a fun visit from Michelle today, I have the crafty bug. I like purposeful crafts that are simple and not found in all my neighbor's homes. A bit limiting. Not totally, though. So surfing around I found these very clever bookshelves. If I didn't already have some, I'd be digging out the hand saw and leftover gutters. I also loved her idea to hang them in a hall for a makeshift "kid's library." Another reason to have extra wide halls in my next house :)

I love them. i think I will have to invest in some of them when I get a house.
Thanks for the link.
Our first house had an extra wide hall it was lovely, built in the 20's. The children love riding their bikes and cars around and around in the hall. Yes it was that wide.
Great minds think alike right? This idea just happens to be on my "project list" for the next house I live in...only with a different spin...I want to do this concept on a kitchen wall to display my cookbooks decoratively. I've never seen it this way...very cool!
