4 Months

Sweet Luke is 4 months old now! Seems like 4 years, though. I have to remind myself that he's still fresh and new. Time flies, but then again it feels like he's always been with us. He's a cute chubber, weighing in at 15 1/2 pounds already. I even had to bust out the 6-9 months clothes yesterday! He's thriving and doing well.

We visited the allergist yesterday. Well, one of them. Results were sketchy. Milk didn't even test positive. I don't know wether to believe them or not. So, I am going to be milk, soy, and corn free for the next week and see if that helps. If we're still in the same spot, though, I am switching to formula. Honestly, mentally and physically I am ready to just throw in the towel now, but Luke won't take a bottle so I figure I can endure one more week. Otherwise I'll basically have to starve him until he decides to give in to the bottle. And I can't handle that on my own. Or Dave. Not to mention that the special hypoallergenic formula is a kazillion dollars a can. But, hopefully this will do the trick. Then we'll see the other allergist as planned in May and go from there.

We started giving Luke some rice cereal. He seems to like it and slurps it down. It's a fun mess to watch.

We sure love this little big guy, though. He's so sweet and cuddly and we love that he knows each one of us. The smiles and laughs are awesome.
