I think I post about this every year now. I am going through serious holiday party withdrawls. Before we moved here I had a Christmas cookie exchange for the 3 years previous. I lived for those! It wasn't the cookies. I never even ate them. Well, a few. I just loved making the invites, preparing decorations, getting dressed up, having a party with fun girls that had a creative spin to it. And yummy food. Who doesn't love that?
We don't even get a work party. The downfalls of working for a big company. I miss my Ethan Allen family and the fun parties with even funner girls. My bosses were awesome, too.
I am missing it something fierce. I'm in no mind set to get together a party here this year. Call me crazy but the sleepless nights take over my entire function. I am, however, looking forward to Christmas with my sisters and having a bash then.
So, Kristina, know I am missing you like crazy right now and am having sugarplum dreams; thinking of the next great party we can throw. Some day.

A cookie exchange sounds so fun right now. I am not a party planning person but I can imagine you throw a great one! Count me in next year:)
I agree! I miss my old friends and the great parties we would have on a regular basis.
