He's here!
Luke Brycen surprised us all and started coming on Wednesday. I got to the hospital around 9:30 pm and he arrived 2 pushes later at
12:15 am Thursday, October 2nd. Yippee! After a lovely epidural the delivery went great and I'm recovering pretty well. He was
7 lbs 5 oz and
19.5" long. At twice Easton's size he was big, healthy, and perfect. He's jaundice so we have him on a bilibed at home, but otherwise he's doing great. Luke has a nice dusting of dark hair as well. Just enough to have some, not enough for most people to comment on.
Easton just loves his baby brother. He likes to hold him oh so carefully and 'pet' his soft head. So far he's not jealous in the least and doesn't seem to mind the distraction of Mom at all, yet. Dave's thrilled to be a dad again and has been wonderful at making life easier for me when possible. And so far the sleep deprivation hasn't caught up with me yet, so I'm awesome.

Great Job there Kelly!! He is perfect. Having two is sure different than one but it is amazing to watch two perfect little souls interact with each other. Have fun. Remember time flies even faster this time around. And when you feel like screaming and crying and like you just can't do it all remember that it will get better and the rest of us went through it also. So call if you need to. Love you guys.
