Here's my first use of one of my fun new fabrics. I don't have anywhere to keep my jewelry. So I decided to make a board for it all. I love it! It was super easy and now I can see and find all my jewelry at a glance. I just covered a large bulletin board with fabric, using hot glue. I also added thin 3 oz batting between the two, but I don't know why. It doesn't seem to make a difference either way. I just used clear push pins as the 'hooks', which works perfect. If you do this, I recommend nailing hangers into studs or using anchors. I didn't and mine fell once already. It's not really heavy, but the nails that came with it are just short and fall out.
I'm just a girl trying to be Supermom, June Cleaver and Martha Stewart, all at once. You get to see me laughing and crying along the way because it doesn't happen often. But every day I can see that life sure is good in my corner of the world.
