The End

Well, this is it. 4 more days and we'll have another baby in the house! My appointment this morning showed that all's well but no change. I really should have gotten in on some of the bets made guessing when I'd have this kid because I'd be making some cash. I knew he'd wait! When the doctor walked in he said, "so, we're stripping your membranes today?" I said you want to do what to me? I had no idea, really, what he was talking about. He explained it and all I heard was "...70% of women go into labor on their own within a few days after this." My spastic self quickly declined. Sure didn't sound like fun. Sounded messy. And I have things to do today. And the rest of this week in fact. And I am a chicken and would rather wait until I know what's going to happen on Friday.
Other than all the usual gripes all's well. I am an emotioanl wreck, however. Either hormones or nerves are getting to me and talking to me on the phone you may think I have had the babe already. But, I expect this. Good thing Dave's working late today and Wednesday. I'd better warn him, though.
And here's your last picture of my large self. I can never remember to have someone take a picture and I don't want to take the time with the timer. You you get to see my dirty (well, clean) laundry as well. Enjoy, and I hope it makes you feel thin :) (someday it will make me feel that way)

Yay! I am soo excited for you. I can't wait to find out what his name is :)
stripping membranes sounds like no fun at all. planning an induction would be the best I think also.
You are beautiful. no matter how large you ever get you really do have a beautiful face, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

You are so cute! I had my membranes stripped with Cohen. It was not messy just a little on the painful side. It really does put into labor a few days later. Good luck!
