I love June and July here. So many festivities and activities going on it keeps us from getting bored or overwhelmed by the heat. I particularily enjoy the parades and all that goes along with them. This last week we went to 2 parades, just a minute away.
Thursday was the Stock Parade. Stock as in animals. Yes, it was quite smelly. We thought it'd be all sorts of farm type animals, but it ended up just being an hours worth of small town 'princesses' on their horse as well as other towns people on their horses, although I do have to credit Cinderella for doing us the favor of showing up in her carriage. It was beautifully done and the little girls were thrilled. We went with our great neighbors who taught Easton that at parades you chant "can-dy, can-dy, can-dy" at everyone that goes by in the parade. It was hilarious.

All the floats were excellect. I was really impressed. The other parade was for the
Lehi Round-Up Days finale. (A week's worth of fun, small town activites. I love it) Katie and I went with the boys and not being early enough we got great seats, but in the sun. Bad idea. It was a really fantastic parade but Easton and I were sweating buckets and the 4 of us only lasted an hour. We got lots of candy, though. :)

Easton looks how we all felt by the end.

Easton and Gage were cute dancing like the hula girls.
And I can't wait for the 4th of July this next week!
