The things he says

Tonight we attempted to have FHE. We did a coloring/cut/paste activity about the first vision. After a couple minutes Easton says "time to pway(play) now!" and attempted to retrieve his cars and abandon us and our activity.

I can count on one hand the number of times Easton has said "I love you" to me and Dave. And it's not a full hand. The other day in the car, though, he all of a sudden starts saying "I wove(love) trucks, I wove tractors, I wove cars, I wove tractors, I wove trucks..." and on. Tonight I was telling Easton I loved him and asked if he loved me and he started with the trucks again. He sure knows how to push our buttons.

When Easton wants something this is how he asks: "Pway(play) cars? Ok." "Walk outside with firetruck? Ok." I love how he answers his own question the way he expects.

It's nice to be at a stage when, although I truly appreciate and enjoy when Easton is sleeping, I no longer feel like that is my favorite time, and when he's the sweetest. I look forward to every day and the new funny things that will come out of his mouth.

I can't believe how big he is getting. I can't wait to see him again. He's so darling the way he is consumed with cars.

Nothing better than a sleeping kid after a fun day of cars and friends.
