It wasn't totally unlike National Lampoon's, but much better. You gotta love being together with family at the holidays. We had lots of crazy, hectic, stressful, lounging, coughing, sneezing, laughing, teasing, kodak moments fun. I have a kazillion pics to choose from so I'll try to not post them all.
The flight was much better than expected. It was only 2 hours, so that was no big deal. And, on the way there we had a whole row to ourselves, and I got put in first class on the way home, so that helped a lot! I didn't use 80% of the activites packed. But that's ok because I felt prepared and that's half the battle. Easton thought it was cool, and now refers to 'planes in the clouds' after seeing the clouds below him.
First, my sister's, Kristina, wedding.
Always amazing how it's so stressful and chaotic and so many things go wrong, but then it really turns out beautifully. Krissy looked just beautiful,
and her new in-laws are fantastic. (whew!) I thought I took a lot more and better pics, but alas, I did not. And not wanting to put off this post to photo edit this is all you get. Her flowers were lovely, too.
This is her at a shower for her the night before the big day. I think she's adorable.
Our family went to the Macy's display downtown. They decorate the whole floor in a fun theme. It's something I always miss. This year it was The Nutcracker. Amazingly well done, as always.
Easton loved playing with his cousins. He and Paul really liked the air hockey.
The family gift exchange was fun for all. It was nice to actually give a gift in person rather than through the mail.
De-stressing before the wedding. Is this my mom or my sister? I think she looks terrific. (Recently lost over 30 pounds!) And glowing. How are those nails these days Mom?
My cute parents at the zoo.
Me and Easton at the zoo. I include this only b/c it's one of the only pictures that has me in it, since I held the camera all week.
Decorating cookies for Santa. All the kids had a blast. I flew home Christmas morning, so we decided to celebrate on the 26th.
I think this was Easton's favorite present from us, a vacuum. Funny how much he loves it.
I got some earrings that I can actually wear! (sensitive ears)
A man can never have too many shirts and ties. He looks very handsome in this set :) We had a lovely Christmas dinner also. It was perfect. I love our little (and big) family!
