Swim Time

Gasp! I know, how dare I mention something that scary right before Christmas. Well, scary for me. I know there's plenty of you that don't bat an eye at the thought. I, however, do much more than that. But...we have a pass to the local rec center that is awesome. It's so cheap, and at only 3 minutes away, not only do we get to work out there, but there's also a fantastic pool for kids. It's huge and full of fun slides and things, especially for kids. Right now it's great b/c Dave's been taking Easton swimming when I work out and you'd think the kid's in heaven.

Not only do I cringe at the thought of getting into a swimsuit in the dead of winter, but I don't have one. (That fits) My lovely friend, Elise, told me a while ago about Land's End. Did you know that they have a program online that lets you input your measurements, and then you get to virtually try on swimsuits (or clothes)? It's been very helpful seeing a realistic picture of what it'll look like, rather than the over-perfect swimsuit model. Try it. Just pick an item and then click on the "try it on" link.

It's brilliant. I mention this now because not only is this good for trying things on when I don't dare do it at the store, but it's really good incentive for solidifying that New Years Resolution.
