Guest Room

Ok, I know you're all just dying to see what I've been working on in the new house, so here's a nibble. I finished the guest room, probably about a month ago, and it is being well used every weekend. (I love it - you should come see me too!) I kept it really simple so it was an easy project to finish.
I used my painting that I created at the young age of 8, an antique night table and headboard I found at auction, the quilt and pillowcases Dave's grandmother made for him for when he married (she passed away well before we met), and Ikea curtains and lamps. I'm loving the new (to me at least) ready made curtains everywhere that have these ripple/flat/whatever they're called top headers. Oh, and every room needs a plant and every guest needs a(n alarm) clock.
Like my sis says, now I have at least one room in the house that is always perfect - no toys, laundry, papers or noise! I wish I could photograph better...
