Thursday we left to the Outer Banks, NC for a beach trip. Our friends were renting a house and had extra room so invited us to join them. It was a lot of fun. The weather was pretty good, upper 50's to 60's. Chilly for me, warm enough for some of the teens with us. (crazy girls) They boys caught a couple nice fish, too. It was yummy.
We crossed to Ocracoke Island one day on the ferry and Easton thought it was great to 'drive' the car.
Easton had a blast and really loved the water, sand, and birds. You could see the happiness oozing out of his eyes! We adore the OBX and will miss being able to drive here. Maybe we can fit in one last trip before we go...
